Day 2 started with a light nightfall dust of snow. We installed more front panels and master bedroom walls which included many more corners and 45 degree angles.
DAY (2)
Day 2 started with a light nightfall dust of snow. We installed more front panels and master bedroom walls that included many more corners and 45 degree angles.
We uses the 7.5 inch SIP screws to secure the bay window sections at the angles and applied the construction adhesive in amounts twice the amounts typically required. We also had some small voids at the connections that we’ll apply polyurethane foam in before the drywall is installed.
At lunch time, the client and I took some time to catch up on all the conversations we’ve had during the year long process. It’s taken a great deal of time to engineer the plan to meet the requirements in this type of terrain.
Hearing from the client our service was much appreciated during our conversation. Clark has been a pleasure to work with, as he’s been an owner builder on the project. He is a retired mechanical engineer for the U.S Navy. Clark has done an outstanding job and as professionally built as any home I’ve seen built in my 38 years in construction.
Well work continue to work with Clark and learn where we can improve our production process on angles not previous manufactured.
