Featured Project: – Sort and Install, First Floor Greenix SIP Panels
|With the arrival of the Panels to the jobsite on Saturday, it seems the weather is not on our side. Monday there was mini snowstorm. So we’re now dealing with ice on the roads and 6 inches of snow on the stacked panels. Notice in the pictures below how they’ve been well covered to ensure they are not damaged before installation.

DAY (1)
The morning started with the crew shoveling about 2 feet of snow on the deck in many areas. This is one example to show the importance of making sure the palatalized panels are wrapped so that they are protected from surprise snow storms like this one.
This was the first house that we’ve started a install on in the snow, however Clark our client, was just as excited to get started as if it was a bright sun-shining Colorado morning.
After several hours of the 3 man crew removing most of the snow, we got started sorting panels about 12.30 pm. By 5:30 pm we had set about half of the panels on the front wall around the doorway section of the design and set panels 24 feet down the left side of the design.
Not your typical panel install, as this design has 15 or so corners just on the front wall, to set the panel, mark the electrical outlets and then reset, level and square up each corner takes some time to get correct.
Nevertheless we enjoyed the day and sorted many panels for day 2. Our client was happy and it all made a great day.
